David Toms holes out birdie on 18 from a drive that landed in a sand filled divot. K.J. Choi makes his par putt that slides in the left edge to force a playoff back to hole 17. It was that hole that Choi birdied and Toms pared with a putt from edge of rough. Back at 16, Toms went for the green and found the water which led to a bogey. He had a one stroke lead going into 16. Choi had a masterful third chip to within five and half feet but missed the birdie putt.
